New posts are currently quiet rare cause I've been really involved in my work-job in the past weeks. Als there is the webmonday coming up tomorrow which also needs some attention.

But there is still news to talk about: The select(bf)-project has grown old in the meantime and Battlefield 1942 has also seen it's best days, so I thought it would be no problem to let website and forum die away slowly. But it came differently: There are still users of the logparser out there and so some mails reached me which showed themselves saddened about the closing of the forums.

So I now did, what I already had planned during the active period of the project: select(bf) is now a real SourceForge project with all sourcefiles and downloads. In the hope that there might be a little team again which would have time and fun on further development of the little app. Or at least give some support for the users.

By the way: Look into the sources might really pay of quite good. I quit development in a stage when a Windows GUI for select(bf) was short before being ready to release. So whoever is capable of Java and also knows PHP, could really make some users happy.

  Du hast eine schöne Arbeit abgeliefert, da aber die Mods von BF1942 noch nicht tot sind (11/07), und sich noch einige Leute darüber freuen würden, wäre es toll, wenn Du die Windows GUI 0.5 Version als Final machen könntest!
